I was so excited to try these lenses out. The Blincon brand was quite popular while I was in Malaysia. They were sold in optometry shops around the city. 

These lenses belong to Blincon's Classic range.

It looks like a scorching sun. 

These are how these lenses look in natural low-light.

Here's a closer look.

Design : These lenses adds a brown tint to your eyes. There's no limbal ring but it does enlarge your eyes (refer to pictures). From afar, it does add a little sparkle to your eyes. The brown color of the lenses are only evident during close-ups.

Comfort : Easy to put in and remove.  You can definitely feel something slightly on your eye when you have them on. They got tad dried at the 4-5th hour to be honest. These are definitely much more comfortable than the GEO circle lenses.

So...

GEO < Blincon < Freshlook (Comfort-wise)

GEO > Blincon > Freshlook (Design focus)

Conclusion : They are bearable, slightly natural and interesting enough! I didn't like the design that much so I probably won't repurchase this.

The thing about Online Shopping : Trying out Getglasses.co.nz (Review)

Hey everyone! I've been away from the blog but I still do a tad bit of online shopping. I'll start with Getglasses.co.nz . I have not seen any reviews from them so decided to try them out! Going into this, I did not expect much from them due to their negative reviews I have read online. 

But it arrived in around 2-3 weeks.

Decent packaging. Within a box. Bubbly-wrapped.

I order two items which were:

• Freshlook Illuminate - Daillies Rich Brown [10 lenses] (NZD $12)
• Blincon Classic Quarterly Wear Amazing Brown [2 lenses] (NZD $ 16)

Standard Shipping costs NZD $ 5. They ship from Malaysia.

The total order came to NZD $ 33.

What I think : Totally check them out. They have various colored lenses you can choose from! I have seen these brands sold at optometrists shops in Malaysia. I have tried the Freshlook Rich Brown Dailles and can verify they are the real deal! If you are living in New Zealand, check this site out if you are keen to get contact lenses!

The thing about cosmetics : Neo Vision Monet Gray 13mm Circle LensesReview

After much contemplation and research (of course!), I decided to order some circle lens. Hello to the world of circle lens, here comes a beginner!

I ordered three pairs from Kpop2. They have a pair for USD $10.99 deals going on right now! Shipping was USD $8.00 with tracking number included. They arrived within 10 days! :D

The first pair I'm gonna review is Neo Vision Monet in Grey Circle Lenses.

Overall Diameter : 14mm

Graphic Diameter : 13mm

They look really subtle through the vials.

Here's how they look with and without.

Comfort Level : TBA

Being a circle lenses beginner, I'm used to normal daily contacts. These lenses were actually really thin and soft. I even had a hard time putting them in, it kept coming out on my left eye D: Plus, they were kinda irritating when they were on. So I had to remove them immediately. JUST BECAUSE I had less sleep the other day. :(

Design : Simple and natural, no obvious enlargement

The reason why I got these lenses! Not too OTP.

Overall thoughts :

I'm still wary on these lenses. :< All in the name of beauty. I probably should stay away from them for awhile. Definitely uncomfortable for a first timer.

Too uncomfortable for me. So I chuck them away as soon as possible.
