The thing about cosmetics : Missha Signature Real Complete BB Cream SPF25 PA++ #23

I've been real busy with assignments and parties. But....I have been trying this BB Cream sample for a week.

You can definitely see a slight gray/pink undertone to it.

Shade #23 fits nearest to the color of my skin....for now. But my skintone is definitely pale yellow-ish. That's what I found out after putting on different types of BB Cream.

My neck is slightly pale-yellowish.

I attended a friend's 21st with this on. I look like this from afar though.

• It stays on for quite a long time, good oil control


• Buildable, medium to full coverage,


• Can be substituted for heavy foundation (just apply bronzer onto it, I don't have one -_- Probably should get one soon)


• Good for winter wear, my face seems moisturized?


• Don't really like the pink/gray undertone to it tough. What a pity. :(


• DOES NOT HAVE PARABENS (as said on site)

This post is specially dedicated to the Mentholatum Lip Balms!

The LipIce Lipbalm (Grape Blackcurrant flavored) comes from the same company as the Natural Treatment Lipbalm. Both retails for below MYR10(?), you can found them in any Watsons stores.

The balms have a slight difference in color.

My take on these two lipbalms.

Natural Treatment Lipbalm :

More like a lip moisturizer. Fragrance free.

LipIce Fruity Lip Balm (Blackcurrant Grape Flavor):

SPF 15+, Cooling effect caused by the blackcurrant grape flavor.

Both works well during wintertime. Their texture are quite thick, definitely can feel them on your lips. Wears off half the day tough (doesn't really stay on when you decide to drink or eat). There is not evident difference between them besides the flavor.

Just in case you didn't know. There was some strong wind messing around Christchurch yesterday night. A small piece of tile fell off my roof but Dad got it glued back to place.

Today, it has been raining on and off. Weird weather.

The thing about fashion : Hipster Glasses and Collar Clip Ons

My ebay parcel just arrived.

Hipster Glasses (John Lennon look) : USD 2.04

Collar Clip-Ons : USD 0.99 (for two pairs)

You can use these for any collared shirt. Tops with those clip-ons usually retail for heaps. Pretty overpriced, if you ask me.

It's clipped onto my Goggle Denim Jacket (around RM100), which I had during my early teens.  Safe to say it's a vintage. XL size. I think it shrunk. Or maybe I grew. 'Cause I remember being a really small-sized kid. And, oh boy. This brand is one of those recommended Malaysian high-end brands. Long-term investment. ;)

The thing about cosmetics : Skin79 VIP Gold Super+ BB Cream

Introducing the much anticipated VIP Gold BB Cream this winter! Spring just started tough.

Anyways, back to the BB Cream. Pretty much everyone recommend it!

The main ingredients are: Sweet almond oil, Arbutin, Kava, Purslane Extracts, Osmopur (sunflower, rice bran, ivy and green tea), Adenosine, Madecassoside

What it promises : Protects skin with wrinkle improvement + whitening, Moisturizes dry skin, SPF 25++ UV Protection (Based on the description here)

This is my bare cheek (well, part of my face).

This is with Skin79's VIP Gold BB Cream.

What the BB Cream did for me:

• Moisturizes my skin (pretty good oil control)


• Dewy finish


• An obvious grey cast with a hint a pink (Sister was asking about it when we were in a room together)


• Medium coverage (build-able,wore this as a foundation)


• Fairly sticky (a little goes a long way)


• Apparently it breaks me out, I think. I've just been using it for three days and stopped after realizing a pimple along my upper T zone (I'll probably stay away from this for now).

I honestly think you should get a sample of it before you decide to commit to the 25g tube! What works for others doesn't mean that it works for you.
