I've always wanted to try out Etude House line of BB Creams, not because my sister told me about Dara being one of the endorsers, but they are one of the few company (I know of!) that does the yellow undertones for BBs. So, I ordered the Natural Beige samples on Ebay.

And this is how they look.

• SPF30/PA++


• Whitening & Anti-Wrinkle & Anti-Darkening


• Paraben Free ( :D!!! ), Artificial dyes Free, Benzophenone Free

Face in Contact : Natural look.

• Skintone - Yellow/Orange


• Consistency - Light on the skin, Velvety, Easy to blend, Matte Finish


• Coverage : Medium, buildable.


• Not moisturizing enough.

Long-lastingness level : 5ish hours without primer

• The oil control is probably not bad. I usually put this on when I have work (kitchen area) and it did not seem to ooze a lot of oil out.

 Scent : Smells like yeast.

• Not a big fan of the smell. :<

Price : NZD $ 6.03 for 10 samples, The 60g pump bottles costs around NZD $15-17 on Ebay.

• Pretty affordable.

Overall thoughts :

It wasn't one of those things that I fell in love with at first. But in time, I grew attached to it. I use it almost everyday for work. I learnt that this one actually fits MORE closely to my skintone when it oxidises. It did not break me out badly. But, the downside is - I can see flaky skin when I apply it on my dry skin (upper T-zone area again!!). I never had major problems with flaky skin, but recently maybe because the Yes to Cucumber wipes has been exfoliating my skin when I wipe the BB off my face. I should stop using those make up wipes. Sigh. Or maybe I should get a new moisturizer.

If it wasn't for my dry skin. Damn. But yes definitely a go to BB Cream for fairer skintones with yellow undertones!
