The thing about cosmetics : The Face Shop's Lovely ME:EX Auto Eyeliner (02 Black Brown)
The eyeliner's packaging is fairly simple. There's 2 tip - the crayon eyeliner tip and the eraser-smudger tip.
The crayon can easily break if it is adjusted too long.
The eyeliner does draws on nicely tough.
Sadly, it is not waterproof. I had this on when I was blow-drying my wet hair, and after that my eyes were a mess. It smudged onto my under-eye.
This eyeliner just does not work during my stay in Malaysia and Singapore. In countries like Asia, it's not only hot but humid. My skin usually sweats out like cray. And I thought it was gonna be a different case here. Guess I was wrong. :\
Just, no. Well, for me.

The thing about cosmetics : BRTC Jasmine BB Cream
Say HELLO to my current favorite BB Cream - BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream.
Did I mention that purple is my favourite color? ;)
What the benefits the BB Cream gives:
- Strong moisture control for dry skin!
- Smooth fine lines and wrinkles
- Brighten dark and aged skin
- Skin irritation test completed
- Great for sensitive skin types
- Superior moisture and water retension
My honest take on it:
- Love the jasmine scent
- Feels light on my skin (not sticky at all)
- Medium coverage, can be build on
- Average-thick texture - it's not a bad thing really!
- Covers all my redness, natural finish
- Good oil control (for winter / rainy days)
- Blends well with my skin (I have fairer skin)
- Might a little bit pricey compared to other BB Creams - I don't mind paying for something more pricey. I don't want to wreck my face. :\
Taking half of a point off it just because ain't no way there is a perfect BB Cream.
Recommended for people with fair skin. Unless you don't mind having a dislocated head with you.
Your call really. :)

The thing about DIYs : Make your own soda smoothie!
I love the frozen coke that McD sells! $1 for a mini is pretty decent deal.
But, now. I have found a way to make it myself.
There's 3 easy steps actually!
- Shake your can/bottle of coke (or any other soda). Shake it like you just don't care....
- Leave it in the freezer for 3 hours + (dependant on the size of your can/bottle)
- Serve it in a glass.
You can refer to the video:
Works on any other soda (fizzy kinds).

The thing about cosmetics : Mamonde Total Solution BB Cream
AMOREPACIFIC Total Solution BB Cream (・∀・*)
In the midst of my procrastination, I decided to do a quick review on my BB cream that arrived on Monday. THIS MONDAY. I know right.
I bought 3 of the 10ml size in Light Beige.
What its contents are.
See the difference? Unedited, taken with flash.
What I can conclude:
- Light-Medium coverage (covers all my redness, panda eyes), natural finnish
- Could work as a concealer
- It's for all skin types. I have combination skin, feels real light on my skin, compared to other BB creams. (So far, from the samples that I've tried. Will post the samples up when I have the time.)
- Does not break out my skin, no skin irratation
Pretty gutted I can't use it as a foundation 'cause my face's skintone doesn't match the color. It actually looks like someone's white face was misplaced on my body. Really gutted.
AND GURL. DID YOU KNOW THAT MR. SIWON IS ONE OF THEIR ENDORSERS?

The thing about cosmetics : TONY MOLY Eyelash Curler [Gold Premium]
This is my first eyelash curler and it's from TONY MOLY. I was going to go for the MISSHA one but saw a review saying that the MISSHA eyelash curler are for the rounded-eye people. So, I bought this instead.
It costs USD $4.41 (around NZD $5?) from Cosmetic-Love. They don't sell it no more, I bet you can find one on Ebay tough. I opt for the premium one 'cause the basic one costs the same.
Here are the measurements. I had to roughly measure it out 'cause they got no info about it on their site.
As a first-time eyelash curler user, I'm pretty satisfied.
- Quite sturdy, the gold color looks classy.
- It DID curl my lashes.
- It didn't cut off my lashes.
- It didn't pinch my lids. FYI I have hooded lids in case you're wondering.
- Cheaper alternative for first timers
Ain't nobody got money for no Shu Uemura or Shiseido. If you have more money for an eyelash curler, get one of those. I saw tons of good reviews about them. For now, I'm sticking to my golden Tony Moly eyelash curler. :D

The thing about Christian Life : Awkward moments
I'm gonna keep it real. Just wanna put it out there, Christians are human beings. Or maybe, it's just me.
Awkward Incident 1#:
Saying grace over junkfood. I just cringe everytime. :| My awkwardness actually motivates me to stay away from them.
Awkward Incident 2#:
When you go ahead and greet someone, and run out of things to say. And leave the conversation hanging. My mind just went blank.
Awkward Incident 3#:
You know it's awkward when your pastor asks you to hold the hand of the person beside you to pray together. I just really like my personal space. It's not a big problem. Not really. But still, awkward.
I had to actually collect my thoughts 'cause I couldn't sleep much. In the end, I started to wonder whether Jesus had any awkward moments. Clearly, he didn't. What he did, was making people awkward.
Awkward moments I can point out:
Foreseeing Judas's betrayal and tell him in person. I actually feel bad for Judas. It's like telling a thief that he's gonna steal from a particular shop, and turns out you're gonna be right (John 13:21-30).
Even tough He told the world He was the Son of God, He was still hung on the cross (John 19:12-18).
When He rose on the 3rd day (John 20), I could totally picture God be like "Hey, so about being the Son Of God....I'mma gonna send my Holy Spirit down to you all to reach the people at the ends of the earth. And I'll be back."
I'm not entirely sure how the religious prophets responded. If I was in their shoes, I would have done the crawl-into-the-hole-and-drown-my-sorrows thing.
Then again, He still decides to go around forgiving people and seems to got this thing about awkwardness down. His grace, til this day, still blows me away.

The thing about cosmetics : Natural Handmade False Eyelash #216
Since I've never used false eyelashes, thought I should tryout the cheaper ones (without ripping the expensive ones). They cost NZD 1.14 for a box (10 pairs), which is a pretty good deal :D
Let's take a look at my bare left eye.
And my right, added-falsie eye.
What do I think?
- Easy to apply
- Fairly comfortable, looks natural
- Cheap
- Recommended for falsies beginners

The thing about New Zealand : Hamner(Springs)
God was maybe tad bit biased with New Zealand. I mean, do you see this?
Beautiful, right? :) This one was taken out of Hamner.
We went into Hamner(Springs) Town, not to the Springs. But to look at gigantic trees. Exactly.
